How long does it take to manufacture and send my Mylight?
The manufacturing process takes between 5-10 business days for all Mylights. If you require your Mylight urgently, email us at sales@mylight.com.au and advise us of the date you need it by and we will do our best to get it made for you in quick time. (Please note, urgent order fees of $30.00 will apply for this request). Orders are dispatched approx 5-10 business days following receipt of the online order and usually arrive at your shipping address within a few days of dispatch. If you require your order to be delivered faster, please select the Express Post option at checkout. This is an additional cost of $35.00 (Production time does not include shipping times).
Why can’t I see the White LED light option on the Design My Light page anymore?
- White LED lights were removed from our light selection choices at the end of October 2021 because they were too bright and did not have a manual dimming switch.
- Rainbow RGB LED lights with the remote control are now the default light setting for all Mylights. They are the preferred light option by our customers, mainly because they can be dimmed and the colour can be changed manually by remote control. They are also more interactive and allow the selection of the red colour which may assist with melatonin activation for improved sleep.
How much do Mylights cost?
The price of a Mylight varies depending on the box colour selected and if an emoji is chosen. A Mylight with a STANDARD box colour comes with a rainbow RGB LED light and remote control starts at $219.95 and includes standard tracked shipping with Australia post. If you go to design my light, you can select various options – the price will be displayed at the bottom of the page.
Why has the cost of a Mylight increased so much since my last order?
Since 2009, there has not been a single price increase on the purchase of a Mylight. Despite the ever-increasing material supply and part costs required to build a Mylight. To keep Mylight operating as a company, we had no choice but to increase our prices as of October 26, 2021.
How much is postage for a Mylight?
Standard Postage is included in the cost of your Mylight. You can however, choose an express post option if you wish. This is an additional $35.00. International shipping is an additional $50.00 *minimum (check your country for price or contact us at sales@mylight.com.au).
Why do emoji shapes cost more?
The emoji shapes are more time consuming to manufacture and position into the artboard, therefore are more expensive. Each emoji shape is charged at $10.00. This price covers the additional costs in routing and the manufacturing process.
How are Mylights powered?
Mylights are powered by electricity. Included with your Mylight is a 12V DC power adaptor which can be plugged into the wall socket. If required, the power adaptor can be removed from the light box (ie there is a plug socket in the back of the light box).
